Obituary for Linda Adams (French)
Linda Joyce Adams of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on June 27, 1944 in Irondale, Missouri. A daughter of the late, Bernice (Stout) Austin and the late, Edsel French. Linda departed this life on June 23, 2017 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home in Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of seventy-two years, eleven months and twenty-seven days.
Linda is survived by two daughters, Tammy Rifenburg and husband, Allen of Mineral Point, Missouri; Linda Sue Eckhoff of Potosi, Missouri; three sons, Jack Elledge and wife, Donna of Blackwell, Missouri; Wes Elledge and wife, Stacey of Quincy, Illinois; Randy Elledge and wife, Rowena of Rolla, Missouri; one sister, Brenda Burks and husband, Thomace of Farmington, Missouri; one brother, Edsel “Sandy” French of Salem, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; also surviving are other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents Linda was preceded in death by two husbands, Jack Elledge and Vincent Adams and one grandson, Devon Elledge.
Linda enjoyed working outside in her garden and planting flowers. She also enjoyed reading and going to garage sales. She loved spending time with her family and her dogs. Linda will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation was held Monday, June 26, 2017 from 11:00 AM until a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri with Brother Robert Nash officiating.
Final prayers and burial took place in the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: Greg Queen, Wesley R. Elledge, Jody Elledge, Jack Lee Elledge, Kenton Wade Hopper and Dakota Reeves.
