Aaron James “Jim” Ayres of Blackwell, Missouri was born on September 22, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri a son of the late, Clarence Edward Ayres and the late, Betty Ann Yarbrough. Jim departed this life on September 8, 2017 at his residence having reached the age of Fifty-nine years, eleven months and seventeen days.
Jim was united in marriage to Lisa Sampson on September 22, 1984 in DeSoto, Missouri and were blessed with one son.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Ayres of Blackwell, Missouri; one son, Cody Ayres of Blackwell, Missouri; one grandson, Colton James Ayres of Blackwell, Missouri; two sisters, Betty Ann Dixon and husband, Thomas of Oakville, Missouri; Juanita “Sissy” Miller of Festus, Missouri; one brother, John Ayres and wife, Linda of Potosi, Missouri; also surviving are other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by one brother, Clarence Ayres.
Jim was an avid outdoorsman who was always hunting and fishing. His greatest love in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandbaby, Colton James. Jim will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
Visitation was held Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Pastor G. Michael Rose officiating.
Final prayers and burial took place in the St. Stephen Catholic Cemetery, Richwoods, Missouri. Serving as Pallbearers were Cody Ayres, Todd Cain, Scott Politte, Shawn Henry, Barry Warden and Wayne Blankenship.
