Paul DeClue
PAUL FRANCIS DECLUE OF CADET, MISSOURI, WAS BORN AUGUST 24, 1932, IN POTOSI, MISSOURI, A SON OF THE LATE MICHAEL ABRAHAM AND EVA MAE (BAYS) DECLUE. PAUL DEPARTED THIS LIFE ON OCTOBER, 29, 2017, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF 85 YEARS, 2 MONTHS AND 5 DAYS.
PAUL WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO THE LATE MARGARET ROSE BOYER ON APRIL 25, 1959, IN OLD MINES, MISSOURI.
PAUL IS SURVIVED BY TWO SONS, DARRELL DECLUE OF CUBA, MISSOURI AND PHILLIP DECLUE AND WIFE MICHELLE OF CADET, MISSOURI, ONE SISTER, DOROTHY YARBROUGH OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, FOUR BROTHERS, MICHAEL DECLUE AND WIFE ELKE OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, DONALD DECLUE AND WIFE DEBBIE OF BELGRADE, MISSOURI, RONALD DECLUE AND WIFE BONNIE OF PARK HILLS, MISSOURI, PATRICK DECLUE AND WIFE JILL OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, ONE SON-IN-LAW, RONNIE CHAMBERLAIN OF FARMINGTON, MISSOURI, SIX GRANDCHILDREN, NINE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS PAUL WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS WIFE, MARGARET DECLUE, ONE DAUGHTER, LINDA CHAMBERLAIN AND ONE BROTHER LOUIS DECLUE.
PRIOR TO HIS RETIREMENT, PAUL WORKED FOR PEA RIDGE AND FOR THE KINGSTON K-14 SCHOOL DISTRICT. HE ENJOYED SPENDING TIME WORKING HIS CATTLE AND IN THE HAY FIELDS. AS TIME SLOWED AND HE HAD LESS TO DO AROUND THE FARM, HE TOOK HIS MORNINGS TO SPEND AT MCDONALDS WITH HIS MANY FRIENDS.
PAULL WAS A MEMBER OF THE ST. JOACHIM CATHOLIC CHURCH AND OF THE WASHINGTON COUNTY KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS.
VISITATION WAS HELD THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2017 FROM 4:00 PM TO 9:00 PM AND FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2017 FROM 8:30 AM TO 9:30 AM AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOMES.
THE FUNERAL MASS WAS CELEBRATED FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2017 AT 10:00 AM AT THE ST. JOACHIM CATHOLIC CHURCH, OLD MINES. FATHER TONY DATTILO OFFICIATING. SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE JERRY MARLER, KALAB DECLUE, SHAWN DECLUE, DERICK DECLUE, RONNIE CHAMBERLAIN AND BRIAN HARBERSON.
SERVICES WERE ENTRUSTED TO THE CARE AND DIRECTION OF THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI, MISSOURI.
