Obituary for Erma Eckhoff (Bourbon)
Erma Jean Eckhoff of Potosi, Missouri was born May 10, 1937 in Cadet, Missouri, a daughter of the late Gertrude Coleman Bourbon and Howard Bourbon. Erma departed this life on November 25, 2017 at her own home having reached the age of eighty years, six months and fifteen days.
Erma is survived by three daughters, Sharon Wiszkon and husband Tom of St. Louis Missouri, Valerie Dornbach and husband Dennis of Potosi, Missouri, Lori Denison and husband Scott of Farmington, Missouri; two sons, Gary Lee Eckhoff and wife Eileen of Park Hills, Missouri, Jeffery Eckhoff and wife Gloria of Potosi, Missouri; four brothers, Vernon Bourbon and wife Becky of Potosi, Missouri, Jim Bourbon and wife Betty of DeSoto, Missouri, Frank Bourbon and wife Karen of Potosi, Missouri, Kenneth Bourbon and wife Anna Belle of Tennessee; three sisters, Donna Emily of Cadet, Missouri, Ruth Bourbon-Ratliff of Springfield, Missouri, Nan Aubuchon and husband Allen of Old Mines, Missouri, eighteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. In addition to her parents, Erma is preceded in death by her husband Buryle Lee Eckhoff, three sisters, Martha Aubuchon, Connie Courtway, Carol Elsey; three brothers, Ronald Bourbon, Donald Bourbon, Howard Bourbon; one great-grandchild, Cooper Bray.
Erma Jean enjoyed sewing quilts, solving puzzles, caning and cooking. She loved to be outdoors working with her plants and her garden. In her free time she love going to the casino. Her dog daisy also held a special place in her heart.
Visitation was held Monday, November 27, 2017, from 3 to 8 PM and Tuesday, November 28, 2017, from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at 1 PM, at the Moore Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Carl Wilson officiating. Burial was at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were, Adam Dornbach, Greg Wiszkon, Dan Wiszkon, Chris Eckhoff, Kyle Eckhoff, Dylan Eckhoff and Duane Eckhoff.
