Randy Bruce Wilson of Mineral Point, Missouri, was born June 14, 1954, in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of the late Vincent and Louise (Bourbon) Wilson. Randy departed this life on January 8, 2018, having reached the age of sixty-three years, six months and twenty-five days.
Randy is survived by his wife, Barbara Welker of Mineral Point, MO, three daughters, Jamie Wilson of Park Hills, MO, April Emily of Springtown, MO, Krystal Wilson and fiancé Jeremy Peck of Springtown, MO, four sons, Gregory Wilson of Auroa, Colorado, Alfonz Wilson of Montana, Jeffrey Wilson and wife Emily of Potosi, MO, Michael Wilson of Potosi, MO, two sisters, Cheryl Head of DeSoto, MO, Lenesse West and husband Matt of Hillsboro, four brothers, Jackie Wilson and wife Shirley of Springfield, MO, Mike Wilson of DeSoto, Roger Wilson and wife Lisa of DeSoto, Dewayne Wilson of DeSoto, seventeen grandchildren and by many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents Randy was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jadin Wilson.
Randy was enlisted into the United States Army on March 26, 1973 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was honorably discharged on September 10, 1973 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Randy was an over the road truck driver for many years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, especially Dale Earnhardt. Spending time with family was a priority for Randy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
