Margaret "Tootie" Kite (DeClue)
Margaret Ann Kite of Cadet, Missouri, was born July 26, 1927 in Bliss, Missouri, a daughter of the late Fannie Mary Courtway DeClue and the late John Steven DeClue. Margaret went to be with her lord and savior January 31, 2018 having reached the age of ninety years, six months and five days.
Margaret is survived by two daughters; LaDonna Kite of Farmington, MO, Debra Kite of Cadet, MO, three sons; John Kite and wife Karen of Festus, MO, Dennis Kite of Sherman, TX, Steven Kite and wife Wanda of DeSoto, MO, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by three daughters; Dovie Kite, Glenda Schliter, JoAnn Edmonus, two sons; David Kite, Kenny Dickerson, seven sisters; Susan Boyer, Mae Robart, Cecelia Sansoucie, Mary Partney, Mary DeClue, Edna DeClue, Catherine DeClue, four brothers; Clarence DeClue, Joe DeClue, John DeClue, Raymond DeClue, one grandchild; Tony Dickerson, one great-grandchild; Amber Hedrick.
Margaret, “Tootie”, was very active with the St. Joachim church and school activities. She was apart of the St. Joachim Ladies Sodality, she was involved with the parish events, Rendezvous, quilting, crocheting and embroidery. Tootie loved to watch birds and squirrels as well as solve “Word Search Puzzles”. Margaret was always there for her family as well as other children and friends within her community. Margaret will be missed by all who have known her.
