Johnny Lee Watson

Johnny Lee Watson of Caledonia, Missouri was born on Monday, July 28, 1952 in Belleview, Missouri a son of the late, Margie (Keeton) Watson and Ross Watson. Johnny departed this life on Friday, February 12, 2010 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of fifty-seven years, six months and fifteen days.
Johnny was united in marriage to Doris Spencer on August 23, 1991 in Caledonia, Missouri.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Doris Watson of Caledonia, Missouri; one daughter, Erin DeClue of Doe Run, Missouri; one son, Ryan Carmack and wife, Jennifer of Leadwood, Missouri; one sister, Virginia Szabo and husband, Steven of Ironton, Missouri; two brothers, Robert Watson and wife, Jeanette of Springfield, Missouri, Richard Watson and wife, Tammy of Caledonia, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Dakota, Dylan, Ryan, Madeline, Kaylon, Skyler, Layne and Walker; one sister-in-law, Pat Hannon of St. Louis, Missouri; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by, one sister, Mary Watson and one brother, Charles Watson.
Johnny served in the United States Army enlisting on July 19, 1971 during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged on July 18, 1977.
Johnny enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing and telling stories and jokes. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 6947 Bismarck, Missouri and a past member of the Valley Lions. Johnny also enjoyed watching old western movies and shooting pool.
Visitation was held Tuesday, February 16, 2010 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 8:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Father George Galovich officiating. Full Military Honors were given by V.F.W. Post 6947, Bismarck, Missouri and the Missouri Funeral Honors Team.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
