Carolyn Dawn Smith
Carolyn Smith of Potosi, Missouri was born on June 3, 1970 in Potosi, Missouri and departed this life on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at her residence having reached the age of thirty-eight years, three months and twenty-seven days.
Carolyn was united in marriage to Jimmie Smith on September 28, 2001 in Potosi, Missouri.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Jimmie Smith of Potosi, Missouri; three daughters, Sarah Albert of Potosi, Missouri, Destiny Jackson of Desloge, Missouri, Trina Smith of Belleview, Missouri; father, David O. Albert, Sr. and wife, Barb of Potosi, Missouri; one sister, Angela Kay Moore and husband, Richie of Farmington, Missouri; one brother, David O. Albert, Jr. and wife, Kathy of Cadet, Missouri; one grandson, Xane Joseph Johnson; also surviving are aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, Judith Carolyn (Nelson) Albert.
Carolyn enjoyed going shopping, listening to music of all types and photography. She loved spending time with her grandson, Xane and being in the outdoors, camping and fishing. Carolyn had a great love for pets and was a cooking perfectionist. She will always be remembered for the love and laughter she shared with all her family and friends.
Visitation was held Friday, October 3, 2008 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday, October 4, 2008 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Pastor Walter Lemmerman and Rev. John Nelson officiating.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the New Masonic Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. Serving as Pallbearers were Nick Sansegraw, Davey Sansegraw, Tyler Blunt, Collin Albert, Austin Albert and Keith Jackson.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
