Randy Gamble of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on Saturday, November 13, 1954 in Springtown, Missouri a son of the late, Marion Iva (Heifner) Gamble and Homer Lee Gamble.  Randy departed this life on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home, Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of fifty-four years, six months and eighteen days.

Randy was united in marriage to Marie Sharon Henry on February 25, 1994 in DeSoto, Missouri.

Randy is survived by his wife, Marie Gamble of Mineral Point, Missouri; three daughters, Stacy Leigh Henson and husband, Gary of Belgrade, Missouri, Penny Sue Merseal and husband, Mike of Cadet, Missouri, Heather Marie Gamble and fiancé, Rob Dotterweich of Potosi, Missouri; one son, Steven Wayne Gamble of Mineral Point, Missouri; four sisters, Judy Buban and husband, Bob of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Carol June Coppedge and husband, Guy of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Vicki Thebeau and husband, Paul of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Kathy Vest and husband, Dale of Cadet, Missouri; one brother, Ronnie Allen Gamble and wife, Karen of New Mexico; seven grandchildren, Michael, Cora, Maria, Felisha, Raven, Chloe and Sara; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  In addition to his parents Randy was preceded in death by five brothers-in-law, Cecil Henry, Melvin Henry, Earl Henry, Jr., Freddie Henry and Alfred Henry, niece, Wendy Lynn Vest and great nephew, Daniel Whitehead.

Randy served in the United States Air Force enlisting on August 20, 1973 and was honorably discharged on April 17, 1974.

Randy enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, camping, fishing, golfing and barbequing.  He loved spending time with his grandbabies and going to family events.  Randy also enjoyed playing pool and poker with his family and friends.  Randy always had a smile, a joke to share and the ability to pass a smile on to anyone at anytime.  He will long be remembered for his witty personality.

Visitation was held Tuesday, June 2, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, June 3, 2009 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel with Reverend Bob Thebeau officiating.  Randy received full military honors consisting of a firing party, taps, flag folding and presentation.

A Luncheon was provided for family and friends after the services at the Pleasant Hill Christian Church, Potosi, Missouri.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
