Boyer, Imelda “Millie”

Imelda “Millie” Marie Boyer of Potosi, Missouri was born on Sunday, January 23, 1938 in Old Mines, Missouri a daughter of the late, Mary Irene (Robart) Coleman and Charles L. Coleman.  Millie departed this life on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of seventy-four years, four months and twenty-seven days.

Millie was united in marriage to John Boyer on October 29, 1955 at St. Joachim Catholic Church Old Mines, Missouri.

Millie is survived by her loving husband, John Boyer of Potosi, Missouri; four sisters, Martha Aubuchon of Potosi, Missouri, Catherine Mesey of DeSoto, Missouri, Mary Elizabeth Merritt and husband, Jerry of Belgrade, Missouri, Ramona Mesey and husband, Charles of Old Mines, Missouri; two brothers, David Coleman and wife, Sherry of Casper, Wyoming, Vincent Coleman and wife Norma of Potosi, Missouri; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  In addition to her parents, Millie was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles T. Coleman, Joseph Coleman and Gene Coleman.

Millie was a parishioner of the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri.  She loved spending time with her family and friends and helping out her community.  She will be greatly missed by all.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper officiating.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
