Obituary for Marjorie Lou Rugh (Horton)

Marjorie Lou  Rugh (Horton)
Marjorie Lou Rugh of Steelville, Missouri, was born April 15, 1948, a daughter of the late Frank Edward Horton and the late Alice Ramo Horton. Marjorie departed this life February 1, 2018 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, having reached the age of sixty-nine years, nine months and seventeen days.
Marjorie was united in marriage to Robert Rugh Sr. on November 13, 1966 and were blessed with three children.
Marjorie is survived by her husband, Robert Rugh of Steelville, MO; one daughter, AMY Louis Lands and husband Samuel of Belgrade, MO; two sons, Robert James Rugh Jr. and wife Jennifer of Potosi, MO, Terry Adam Rugh and wife Crystal of Utah; one sister, Linda Thomas and husband Elwood of Belgrade, MO; four brothers, John Horton and wife Cheryl of Park Hills, MO, William “Bill” Horton and wife Vickie of Irondale, MO, Dennis Horton and wife Betty of Arkansas, Danny Horton and wife Katherine of Caledonia, MO; one sister-in-law, Mary Ann Horton; two grandchildren, James Lands and Daniel Lands. In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Horton; three brothers, Donald Horton, Jimmy Horton and Jess Horton.
Marjorie attended the Straightway Baptist Church in Steelville, MO. She loved her flowers and plants as well as canning vegetables, jams and jellies. Marjorie loved to spend time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A graveside service for family and friends will be held Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 2:00PM at the Horton Cemetery in Belgrade, MO by Pastor Steven Thomas. Honoring the memory of Marjorie and serving as Pallbearers were Kenny Horton, Chris Boyd, Brett Horton, Sam Lands, James Lands and Daniel Lands. Family and friends were invited to attend a dinner at the Liberty Baptist Church in Belgrade after the service.
Moore Funeral Homes was honored to have served the family and friends of Marjorie Rugh.
