Frank Bourbon of Potosi, Missouri, was born January 25, 1949 in Cadet, Missouri, a son of the late Howard “Red” and Gertrude Mary (Coleman) Bourbon. Frank departed this life December 5, 2018, having reached the age of 69 Years, 10 Months and 10 Days.

Frank was united in marriage to Della Lynn Elsey who preceded him in death on February 8, 1995. On March 7, 1997, Frank was united in marriage to Karen Leisure in Poplar Bluff, MO.

Frank is survived by two daughters, Jeneen McEntire and husband Brian Lee of Farmington, MO, Adrianne Logsden and husband Jarrod of Potosi, MO, six sons, Frank Bourbon, Jr. of Arnold, MO, Jason Bourbon and wife Trish of DeSoto, MO, Brian Bourbon of St. Louis, MO, David Bourbon of St. Louis, MO, Chris Wells and wife Laura of Potosi, MO, and Jason Wells and wife Barb of Potosi, MO, special son, A.J. Courtland of Poplar Bluff, MO, three sisters, Ruth Ratliff of Springfield, MO, Donna Emily of Cadet, MO, Nan Aubuchon and husband Allen of Potosi, MO, three brothers, Kenneth Bourbon and wife Anna Lee of Gray, TN, Jimmy Bourbon and wife Betty of DeSoto, MO, Vernon Bourbon and wife Becky of Potosi, MO, sisters-in-law, Kay Wheeler and husband Curt of Overland, MO, Bobbie Ann Lane and husband Gary of Pocahontas, AR, Patricia Leisure of Kentucky, Mary Bourbon of Cadet and Peggy Bourbon of Cadet, MO, brothers-in-law, Mike McDaniel of Waynesville, MO and David McDaniel of Overland, MO, Butch Courtway of Potosi, MO and Leon Aubuchon of Cadet, MO, thirteen grandchildren, Nicole Watson, Alex Bourbon, Mark, Madi and Brad McEntire, Chase and Landon Bourbon, Shannon and Cooper Wells, William & Robert Wells, Kallee and Kendall Logsden and by many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and first wife, Frank was also preceded in death by three brothers, Donald Bourbon, Ronald Bourbon and Howard Bourbon, four sisters, Jean Eckhoff, Martha Aubuchon, Connie Courtway and Carol Elsey.

The Full Gospel Fellowship, Poplar Bluff, was Franks Home Church. Frank served in the United States Marines. Frank was drafted on April 16, 1969 in St. Louis. Frank served in the Vietnam Era, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with device, Rifle Sharpshooter Badge and the Good Conduct Medal. Frank was Honorably Discharged in California on April 6, 1971.

Frank enjoyed gardening, fishing and bird watching.

Frank had a great love for his family, each of them held a very dear and special place in his heart. He was dedicated to each of them and would often watch, sign, read and play what each of them did to keep up with them. Frank was there for his family, anytime, anywhere and always.
