Judy Faye Miller (Trokey)

Judy Faye (Trokey) Miller of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital at the age of sixty-two years, six months and fourteen days. Judy was born December 25, 1956 in Berryman, Missouri a daughter of the late Theodore J.R. Trokey and Leona Gladine (Callahan) Trokey.
Judy was united in marriage to Walter Owens and the Late Bert Miller, Sr.
Judy is survived by one daughter, Vanessa Stricklin of Potosi; three sons, Shannon Owens of Potosi, Stephen Owens and wife Kendra of Cadet, Brandon Owens of North Carolina; three sisters, Leona Tilley of Potosi, Nancy Cottrill and husband Mike of Jacksonville, Alabama, Ima “Jeannie” Jean Williams and husband Ronnie of Morrison, Illinois; five brothers, Theodore “Teddy Trokey and wife Sandy of Mineral Point, Jimmie Dale Trokey of Cadet, Bill Trokey and Michelle DeClue of Belgrade, Eddie Trokey and wife Beth of Potosi, Billie “Joe” Trokey of Belgrade; nine grandchildren, Nathan, Riana, Cloie, Destiny, Landon, Riley, Matthias, Isabella, Jasmine; twenty-two nieces and nephews and by many other dear and special relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Judy was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Baby Owens.
Judy was a member of the Belgrade Pentecostal Church, Belgrade, Missouri. She was a member of the Top Records songwriters Association and received honorable mention in Poetry Contest and published in Great Poems of the Western World.
Judy loved to write poetry and songs. She loved listening to music. She enjoyed researching family history and shared that with her mother. Judy loved collecting replicas and models of old cars. She had a passion for working outside and gardening and living in the country was a great blessing for her. Her riches and treasures in life were her children and grandchildren. She loved them completely and would sacrifice everything for them. Judy loved spending time embordering and was happy to share that with her family. She especially loved going to yard sales and would be happy to drag any willing family member to Walmart any time, day or night.
Judy loved her family unconditionally. She was always the first to arrange activities to bring them together. Judy had a passion for dancing and it always brought a smile to her face. Judy will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by all those who knew and loved her.
