Linda Conway Mayo

Linda (Gillam) Conway Mayo of Potosi, MO was born December 3, 1949 in St. Louis County, MO a daughter to the late Edgar Lynn Gillam and late Betty Jo (Nicholson) Gillam. Linda departed this life Sunday July 21, 2019 having reached the age of 69 years, 7 months and 18 days.
Linda was united in marriage to Lennis Mayo on July 1, 2017 in Potosi, MO.
Linda is survived by her husband Lennis Mayo of Potosi, MO, two sons, Billy Akers and wife Betty of Cadet, MO, Matt Akers and wife Tracy of Potosi, MO, four step children, Angie Dunlap and husband Bob of Wortham, MO, Carla Brand of Potosi, MO, Lindell Conway and wife Chris of Potosi, MO, Tim Conway and wife Donna of Potosi, MO, two sisters, Brenda Stemmler and friend Tom Houseman, Cindy Davidson and husband Tom of Festus, MO, one brother Dennis Gillam and wife Rosie of Alma, MI, dear friend Sandy Gillam of DeSoto, MO , 7 grandchildren, Dustin, Amber, Hattie, Austin, Dawson, Kaylynn, Addison, 6 step grandchildren, Kayla, Kylynn, Chelsie, Rocky, Melissa and Aaron, 4 great grandchildren Dusty, Annabelle, Harper Bayli Nicole, several step great grandchildren and many other nieces nephews friends and family. In addition to her parents Linda was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Gillam, Ed Gillam and one granddaughter Shayley Akers.
Linda was a caregiver always having others in her thoughts. Linda would make time to help anyone in need giving them her full attention. Linda loved her family dearly and treasured every moment they spent together.
Visitation was held Wednesday July 24, 2019 from 9am to 2pm at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, MO. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday July 24, 2019 at 2pm at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, MO with Bro. Warren Smith officiating assisted by Bro. Dennis Gillam. Serving as pallbearers were Lennis Mayo, Tim Miller, Jason Miller, Billy Akers, Matt Akers and Dustin Akers.
Interment took place at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All Services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, MO
