Bobby “Bob” King of Mineral Point, Missouri, was born September 23, 1935, in Malden, Missouri, a son of the late Nelson and Bammie (Kitchen) King. Bob departed this life March 24, 2020, having reached the age of 84 Years, 6 Months and 1 Day.

Bob was united in marriage to Gwendolyn Clayton on May 9, 1975, in Potosi, Missouri.
Bob is survived by his wife Gwendolyn King, of Mineral Point, MO, two sons, Denver King and wife Angie of Potosi, MO, Bill King and wife Lorena of Midwest City, OK, three step children, Tammy Joseph of Mineral Point, MO, David Griffin of Florida and Lynda Miller of Mineral Point, MO, one brother, Kenny King of Poplar Bluff, MO, five grandchildren, Denver “D.J.” King and wife Ashley, Jennie King and special friend, Morgan Carp, Douglas King and wife Valerie, Mindy Queen and husband Patrick, Misty O’Dell and husband Tim, step grandchildren, Coleton Miller, Ashley Joseph and Kasey Joseph, and by several great grandchildren. In addition to his parents Bob was also preceded in death by one daughter, Roberta Joanne (King) Coad, one sister, Joanne Underwood, one brother, Jimmy King and by one granddaughter, Heather Danielle King.
Bob was a longtime accountant working for NASA and locally after his retirement. He enjoyed listening to his son broadcast high school sports. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and followed their games closely.
