Paul Stanley Boyer of Old Mines, Missouri was born January 13, 1935 in Old Mines, Missouri a son to the late Clarence J Boyer and Grace Mary (Portell) Boyer. Paul departed this life Saturday, April 11, 2020 having reached the age of 85 years, 2 months and 29 days.
On August 21, 1954 Paul was united in marriage to the late Ina Mae (Politte) Boyer and they were blessed with 61 years together.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are three daughters, Kathy Politte and husband David of Old Mines, Missouri, Janice Litton and husband Gordon of Old Mines, Missouri, Michele Boyer of Old, Mines, Missouri; one son, Richard “Rich” L. Boyer of Bonne Terre, Missouri; eight grandchildren: Justin Lands, Zachary and Meredith Politte, Sara Litton and Jordan Kincaid, Anna Politte, Jordan and Mariah Politte, Krista and Jason Heddy, Brook and Lloyd Dickinson, Gordon Litton ll; fifteen great- grandchildren: Chase Marler, Max Politte, Makenna Jenkins, Katelynn Marler, Nathan and Randi Dickinson, Ryan Rickard, Allicia Litton, Dane Dickinson, Lynae Dickinson, Marla Dickinson, Kendrick Haws, Kael Politte, Kaison Heddy, Baby Piper Politte, Conner Kincaid; two great grandchildren, Savannah Dickinson, Ashlyn Dickinson; three special grandchildren, Isabel Houston, Brenley Thornton, Jeslyn Thornton and many nieces nephews other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents and loving wife, Paul was preceded in death by his brothers, Vincent (Ann) Thebeau, Glennon “Tine” (Shirley) Thebeau, Wilford “Teet” (Pat) Thebeau.
Paul was always on the go and a pillar of the community. He owned Western Auto for 40 years and operated Old Mines Auto Sales. He was a lifetime member of the Potosi Elks Lodge #2218 and 3rd degree charter member of the Washington County Knights of Columbus #1439. He had a solid faith in Jesus Christ, his savior, and was a faithful member of the St. Joachim Catholic Church. In his leisure time, he enjoyed being outdoors, riding his tractor and playing golf, even scoring a hole in one. Most of all, his family was his rock that he could always count on. He loved them with all his heart and the memories they shared will be treasured forever.
