Norman Wilson

Norman Gene Wilson of Cadet, Missouri was born March 19, 1935 in DeSoto, Missouri a son to the late John Delbert Wilson and Mae Bell (Helton) Wilson – Recar. Norman departed this life Friday, August 21, 2020 having reached the age of 85 years, 5 months and 2 days.
On June 24, 1960, Norman was united in marriage to the late Imelda (Hall) Wilson and they were blessed with fifty- nine years together. Imelda passed June 22, 2020.
Norman is survived by his son, John Wilson and wife Taren of Hillsboro, Missouri; daughters-in-law, Elaine Wilson of Hillsboro, Missouri, Tiffany Read of California; two grandchildren, Alexis Rose, Matthew Thomas and many other relatives and special friends.
In addition to his parents and loving wife, Norman was preceded in death by his two sons, Tom Wilson and Timothy Wilson
Norman was a kind and generous person, always putting others before himself. He and his wife, Imelda, were the owners and operators of Wilson Trucking for many years. He was a faithful member of the St. Joachim Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus #5936, having served as past Grand Knight. A member of the 4th Degree Assembly #567, Bonne Terre, Missouri. He loved to travel all over the country with his wife and friends. He always looked forward to a hunting and fishing trip with the gang out west. He loved his family with all his heart and his memory will be cherished forever.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joachim Church or St. Joachim School.
