Marshall Lynn Wells of Potosi, Missouri passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Potosi Manor where he resided.
Marshall was born October 29, 1952 in Bonne Terre, Missouri in St. Francois County. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Wells and his father, Even Wells, both of Potosi.
His paternal grandparents were C.M. and Carrie Wells of Bonne Terre, Missouri. His maternal grandparents were Orville and Daphne Sheppard of Potosi, Missouri.
Marshall is survived by one sister, Brenda Reames of Potosi; two sons, Christopher Patrick Wells and Jason Lynn Wells of Potosi; four grandchildren, Robert, William, Cooper and Shannon. Aunt, Lorene Panky; Uncle, Jim Sheppard; nieces, Kim Reames and Charlotte Beck; cousin, Tracey Banta and other family members.
Marshall was a lifelong resident of Potosi. He enjoyed hunting and got his first deer at the age of fifteen. He graduated Potosi Senior High in 1970. Marshall enlisted in the Navy in August of 1972. He took his first training at Camp Berry in the Great Lakes, Illinois. Marshall attended church at the Potosi Full Gospel, his favorite hymn was Amazing Grace. When family came to visit he would like to end with prayer and Amazing Grace. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
