Glennon James Boyer, also known as “Glenn” was born June 2, 1934 in Cadet, Missouri a son to the late Patrick Francis Boyer and Lula (Oesha) Boyer. Glennon departed this life Thursday October 29, 2020 having reached the age of 86 years, 4 months and 27 days.
Glennon was united in marriage to Daphine (Strange) Boyer and later to Emily (Chatman) Boyer. Both were called to their heavenly home.
Glennon is survived by his sons, Jim Boyer and wife Linda of Fredericktown, Missouri, Tim Boyer and wife Tina of Piedmont, Missouri; daughter, Glenda Baybo and husband John of Arnold, Missouri; sisters, Eilene Allen of Paragould, Arkansas, Della Walz of House Springs, Missouri, Martha Mercial of Old Mines, Missouri, Alice Noack of House Springs, Missouri; step son, Don (Becky) Voegtlin of Witcha Falls, Texas; brothers, Joseph Boyer and wife Carol of Washington, Pennsylvania, Marvin “Bud” (Elaine) Boyer of Old Mines, Missouri, Virgil Boyer and wife Debbie of Park Hills, Missouri, Kenny Boyer of Potosi, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Tanya Baybo, John (Crystal) Baybo, Shane (Leah) Boyer, Christina Boyer, Chelsea Boyer, Ryan Boyer, Josh (Lora) Bowles, Shanna (Noah) Yount; eleven great grandchildren; Gavin Baybo, Zoey Baybo, Cheyenne Bailey, Kaitlynn, Wes Mason, Bryce Bowles, Sadie Yount, River Yount, Alexis, Hunter and Mackinley and 1 great great granddaughter, Nora Kate and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Glennon was also preceded in death by his sister, Geneva Wright.
Glennon was a hard worker and a loving family man. He was an avid outdoorsman and went hunting and fishing every chance he could. He loved to read and watch movies, his favorite genre being westerns. Above all, his family was his rock and he loved them with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
