Geraldine Lee Crites (Wirth)

November 30, 1936 — March 11, 2021

Geraldine Lee (Gerry) Crites was born November 30, 1936 to the late Al and Florence (Knigge) Wirth. She met her hero and love of her life when they were 12 years old and married Carl Edward Crites in November 1952, the shared fifty five years together. Three children were born: Glen Edward, Glenda Lee and Timothy Lynn.
Gerry was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; sons, Glenn and Timothy; one granddaughter and one great granddaughter.
Gerry is survived by her daughter, Glenda; five grandchildren, Brandy (Brian) Daniels, Matthew Crites, Tanya Evans, Natasha Evans, Gwenn Frey, seven great grandchildren, Gracie, Ali, Eli, Cammi, Stephanie Brezzi; daughter in law, Kris Crites; son –in-laws, Cletus Evans and Terry Wright; grandson-in- law, Ken Elliot, one niece, one nephew and many other Christian friends.
Gerry was a survivor of three types of cancer. Her family members were all affected with it. Most of them have donated their bodies to Wash U. for a cure for this terrible disease. Her final wish is for the children of St. Jude. Please make donations in her name. She was a faithful member of the Potosi Southern Baptist Church.
