Leon Joseph Aubuchon

Leon Joseph Aubuchon of Cadet, Missouri was born August 29, 1934 in Cadet, Missouri, a son to the late Chad Aubuchon and Mary Ellen (Dearing) Aubuchon. Leon departed this life Sunday, March 28, 2021 having reached the age of 86 years, 6 months and 28 days.
On September 8, 1956, in Hernando, Mississippi, Leon was united in marriage to the late Martha Joyce (Bourbon) Aubuchon and together they happily raised their children and were blessed with fifty- four wonderful years together. Martha preceded Leon in death on March 24, 2011.
Leon is survived by his son, Kevin Aubuchon and wife Debbie of Cadet, Missouri; daughters, Brenda Bennett and husband Paul of Cadet, Missouri, Cheryl Courtway of Cadet, Missouri, Carrie Wicker and husband Clifton of Cadet, Missouri; brothers, Jim Aubuchon and wife Sue, Kenny Aubuchon, Denny Aubuchon and wife Francois; sisters, Glenda Arnold and husband Gaylon, Eilleen Finley, Margaret Wheeler and husband Chet; grandchildren, Amy (Snoopy) Eckhoff, Misty (John) Ficken, Jason (Natasha) Bond, Nathan (Angela) Courtway, Holly Courtway, Jarod (Christian) Aubuchon, Jeff (Ashley) Aubuchon, Jeremy (Sarah) Wicker, Kim (Kyle) Buckley; twenty-four great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents and loving wife, Leon was preceded in death by his son, Garland Aubuchon; grandson Robert (Bobby, Jr.) Courtway; son-in-law, Robert Courtway; great grandson Gavin Aubuchon, great great grandsons, Raydon and Rayson Whitley; sisters, Jean Coleman, Joan Young, Doris Boyer, Elaine Aubuchon and brother, Francis Aubuchon.
Leon was a kind and caring man and a hard working provider for his family. His family is what was most precious to him and he loved to spend time with them. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and genuine friend. His memory will be treasured by those who loved him. A special Thank You to Safe Harbor Hospice, Tammy Weston, Kitty Bowyer and Sharon Pickett for all their care and compassion.
