James "Jim" Mathias Schloemer

James “Jim” Schloemer of Potosi was born March 4, 1946 in Afton, Missouri a son to the late Catherine Beatrice (Tritz) Schloemer and James John Schloemer. Jim departed this life Friday, May 21, 2021 having reached the age of 75 years, 2 months and 17 days.
Jim is survived by his loving life partner Charlette “Charlie” (Steuben) Schloemer; sister, Rose Ann Clarke of St. Louis; brother-in-law, Robert Clarke, Sr. of St. Louis; nephews, Robert Clarke, Jr and wife Gail, Dan Clarke; great nephews, Kyle Clarke, Ryan Clarke; niece, Lisa Clarke-Miller and husband Mike; great niece, Sarah Masterson and husband Mike; great great nieces, Madison and Emma; Cousins, and many other relatives and special friends.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his nephew, David Clarke.
Jim was a hard worker and could accomplish anything he set his mind to. He was a faithful member of the St. James Catholic Church and helped with many church activities. He loved his family with all his heart and did anything he was asked, never asking for anything in return. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him.

Private services are under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
