Amelia Dawn Biri, of Richwoods, Missouri was born July 29, 2013, a daughter to Shanay Politte. Amelia passed away suddenly on Monday, October 16, 2023. She was an astonishing individual whose life was filled with love, joy, and an unwavering sense of positivity. Amelia, known for her bubbly personality and her readiness to have fun, left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Amelia's passion for life was evident in everything she did. She had a wide range of interests and hobbies that brought her immense happiness. From her love for Pokémon to her enjoyment of reading, animals, listening to music and she was an avid collector of rocks. Amelia lived life to its fullest. Whether she was swimming, drawing or painting, she embraced every moment with enthusiasm and creativity.
Beyond her vibrant spirit and infectious laughter, Amelia held a special place in the lives of her surviving family and friends. She leaves behind her mother Shanay Politte and stepfather Zackary Ray Wideman (her Zack- Zack). Among her siblings are half-brother Jerry Portell Jr., bonus brothers Linkin Ray Wideman, Elis Ray Wideman, Carter Dean Portell, Cody Michael Wilkinson, and sister Molly Sue Portell.
Amelia was cherished by her grandparents: Renee Politte and Craig Weeks; Penny and Bob Wright; Glenda and Linne Wideman; Bill Politte; Jerry Portell; as well as great-grandmother Rachel Politte. Her aunts and uncles include Daniel Politte, Ryan Politte, Nick Politte, Jeremy Politte, Sidney and Josh Sudmeyer, Kaitlin Weeks and fiancé Spencer Moses, Leanna and Matt Ruble. Additionally, many other relatives and friends mourn her loss.
Amelia's vibrant presence will be sorely missed by both the students and faculty of Valley R-6 School. She touched the lives of everyone with kindness and compassion that will forever be cherished in our memories.
As we say goodbye, let us remember Amelia as a beacon of love and joy. Although Amelia's time with us was far too brief, her impact on the world around her is immeasurable. May her beautiful spirit continue to inspire us to live each day with the same passion and zest that she embodied. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten and may her light continue to illuminate the lives of those she touched along her remarkable journey.
