Angelia Shepard

           Mary Angelia (Thebeau) Shepard of Cartersville, Georgia, formerly of Old Mines was born May 3, 1927 in Cadet, Missouri, a daughter to the late Thomas Thebeau and Nelia M. (Boyer) Thebeau. Angelia departed this life Sunday, November 6, 2022 having reached the age of 95 years, 6 months, and 3 days.

            On October 30, 1947, Angelia was united in marriage to the late James Shepard. They were blessed with a beautiful family and shared 60 loving years together. James preceded Angelia in death on March 10, 2008.

            Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Deborah Bailie of Cartersville, Georgia, Carol Burgan and husband John of Cartersville, Georgia; son, Donald Sr. and wife Nancy Shepard of Lakeland, Florida; grandchildren, Lisa Owens, Jeremy, Bailie, Shane Burgan, Tiffany Burgan, Kelly Allred, Donald Shepard, Jr.; great grandchildren, Katlyn Burgan, Kaydence Allred, Kayia Allred and many other relatives and dear and special friends.

          Angelia had a heart of gold and always saw the best in people. Throughout the many trials in her life, her faith in Christ kept her going. She loved telling stories about her childhood and her life in Old Mines. Her favorite place to be was with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her memory will be cherished by those who loved her.
