Alma Maryann Aubuchon

Alma M. Aubuchon of Cadet, Missouri was born on Tuesday, January 31, 1928 in Cadet, Missouri a daughter of the late, Cora (Portell) Reando and Newton Reando. Alma departed this life on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at her residence having reached the age of seventy-nine years, eight months and fourteen days.

Alma was united in marriage to Andrew “Andy” Aubuchon on October 11, 1952 in Old Mines, Missouri.

Alma is survived by four daughters, Debbie Swyers of Springfield, Missouri, Sandy Aubuchon of Lambertville, New Jersey, Cathey Skiles and husband, Gary of Caledonia, Missouri, Peggy Gray and husband, Anthony of Farmington, Missouri; two sons, Michael “Mike” Aubuchon and wife, Sheila of Potosi, Missouri, Phillip Aubuchon of Cadet, Missouri; one sister, Ruth Watson and husband, William of Gerald, Missouri; three sisters-in-law, Margie Aubuchon of Mineral Point, Missouri, Wilma Aubuchon of Cadet, Missouri and Loretta Patton of Cleveland, Ohio; one brother-in-law, Howard “Chuck” Aubuchon of Tiff, Missouri; four grandchildren, Jodi Hamilton and husband, Ryan, Andy Aubuchon, Lauren Aubuchon, Matthew Aubuchon; two great grandchildren, Alexandria Hamilton and Andrew Hamilton; dear friends, Elaine Baldridge, Becky Boyer, Kay O’Connell and Joan Karsch and special niece and nephew, Linda Boyer and Donnie Reando. In addition to her parents Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Aubuchon on February 7, 2007, one son, David Aubuchon, one grandchild, Jamie Swyers, one sister, Diane Allen, seven brothers, Carl Reando, Tom Reando, Jimmy Reando, Fred Reando, Chester Reando, Walter Reando and Donnie Reando.

Alma attended the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri and loved having her family over on Sundays for dinner and visiting. She enjoyed singing, dancing, playing cards, making apple dumplings and will always be remembered for her great canning and baking skills. Alma truly loved her family and many friends.

Visitation was held Tuesday, October 16, 2007 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, October 17, 2007 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper officiating.

Honoring Alma by serving as pallbearers were: Andy Aubuchon, Brandon Smith, Kenny Reando, Ryan Hamilton, Bruce Aubuchon and Tony Gray. Honorary pallbearers were: Donnie Reando and Ronnie Allen.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
