Margie Marie Aubuchon of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on Thursday, September 12, 1929 in Mineral Point, Missouri a daughter of the late, Mary Louise (Politte) Trokey and Lawrence Trokey. Margie departed this life, surrounded by the love and care of her daughters and family on Thursday, January 13, 2011 in Potosi, Missouri at the age of eighty-one years, four months and one day.
Margie was united in marriage to James “Speck” Leonard Aubuchon on December 28, 1949 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiff, Missouri.
Margie is survived by three daughters, Rita Coleman of Potosi, Missouri, Barb Bouse and husband, Curtis of Mineral Point, Missouri, Anita Govero and husband, Alan of Tiff, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren, Y. Renee Beard, T.J. Aubuchon, Aaron Aubuchon, Brandon Smith, Abby Gibson, David Bouse, Amanda Bouse, Eric Aubuchon, Sean Martin, Kati Isgriggs, Beau Govero, Caleb Govero, Tisha Bouse, Melissa Aubuchon, Melinda Aubuchon; twenty-five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Marie Trokey of St. Louis, Missouri, Loretta Patton of Cleveland, Ohio; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by her husband, James “Speck” Leonard Aubuchon, one son, Terry James Aubuchon, three sisters, Thersia Ambuehl, Mary Catherine Redd, Cecelia Trokey, one brother, Linneus Trokey, one grandchild, JoLynn Coleman and son-in-law, Joe Coleman.
Margie loved spending time with her family and babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, reading and watching musical movies. She was a member of the Ladies Sodality at St. James Catholic Church, Potosi, Missouri and St. Dominic in Youngstown, Ohio. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting and crocheting. Margie was a huge Cardinals Baseball fan. She was known by all as a wonderful person who will be deeply missed.
Visitation was held Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Monday, January 17, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Joe Welschmeyer officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Ryan Beard, Riley Beard, Brandon Smith, T.J. Aubuchon, Aaron Aubuchon, Eric Aubuchon, Sean Martin and Brayden Burns.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Calvary Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. Family and Friends returned to the St. James Catholic Church Parish Hall following services were the Parish Family provided a luncheon.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
