ETHELYN "TINY"BARTON
TINY BARTON OF CADET, MISSOURI, WAS BORN DECEMBER 12, 1915, IN EBO, MISSOURI, A DAUGHTER OF THE LATE CLARENCE AND EDNA (BERRY) GREENLEE. TINY DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT JEFFERSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ON MARCH 10, 1999, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF EIGHTY-THREE YEARS, TWO MONTHS AND TWENTY- SIX DAYS.
TINY WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO ELIJA BARTON ON MARCH 8, 1932, IN HILLSBORO, MISSOURI, AND TO THIS UNION THREE CHILDREN WERE BORN.
TINY IS SURVIVED BY HER HUSBAND ELIJA BARTON OF CADET, TWO SONS, BURGESS BARTON AND WIFE CHRISTINE OF CADET, CARL BARTON AND WIFE JACKQULINE OF HOUSTON, TEXAS, ONE DAUGHTER, OPAL JOHNSTON AND HUSBAND BOB OF CADET, FOURTEEN GRANDCHILDREN, TWENTY-ONE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, ONE GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILD AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY TWO GRANDCHILDREN, TEENA "SPEEDY" HAHN AND MARY ANN JOHNSTON.
TINY WAS A KIND AND LOVING WIFE, MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER AND FRIEND THAT WILL BE LOVINGLY REMEMBER AND SADLY MISSED BY ALL WHO KNEW HER
VISITATION WAS HELD FRIDAY, MARCH 12, 1999, FROM 3:30 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT THE GUM & SON FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED SATURDAY, MARCH 13, 1999, AT 1:00 P.M. AT THE POTOSI UNITED METHODIST CHURCH WITH REVEREND BOB BULLOCK OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN ST. JOACHIM CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF GUM & SON FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, SCOTT BARTON, DONNIE JOHNSTON, KENNY WAYNE BARTON, JOE BARTON, DENNIE BRAND AND DENNIS BOYER.
