Kathy J. Barton of Park Hills, Missouri departed this life on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, Farmington, Missouri having reached the age of fifty-six years, five months and twenty-nine days. She was born Tuesday, July 27, 1954 in Washington, Missouri a daughter of the late, Mary (Landers) DeClue and William DeClue.
Kathy was united in marriage to Donnie L. Barton on June 5, 1971 in Hillsboro, Missouri.
Kathy is survived by two daughters, Connie Rolens and husband, Randy of Potosi, Missouri, Tonya Ramirez of Park Hills, Missouri; one son, Donnie Barton of Park Hills, Missouri; six brothers, Steve DeClue and wife, Rose of St. Clair, Missouri, Bob DeClue and wife, Cindy of St. Genevieve, Missouri, Elmer DeClue of Robertsville, Missouri, Eddie DeClue and wife, Donna of St. Clair, Missouri, Gary DeClue of Lonedell, Missouri, Donald DeClue and wife, Marilyn of Cadet, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Brandi, Seth, Kiya, Abby, Jeremiah, Zechariah, Paige and Briana; also surviving are other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Barton, one son, Lonnie Barton, one sister, Norma DeClue, three brothers, James William DeClue, Raymond DeClue and Johnnie DeClue.
Kathy was a loving woman who loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing hand held games and crocheting. Kathy will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
Visitation was held Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday, January 28, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Friday, January 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel with Pastor Aaron Saunders officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Donnie Barton, Randy Rolens, Eric Torres, Steve DeClue, Donald DeClue, Elmer DeClue, Sr., Elmer DeClue, Jr., Robby DeClue
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Francois Memorial Park, Bonne Terre, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
