John Warren Besel of Potosi, Missouri was born Wednesday, May 21, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri a son of the late Mildred Catherine (Schultz) Besel and Leonard Paul Besel. John departed this life at the Washington County Memorial Hospital on Friday, August 26, 2005 at the age of Forty-six years, Three months and Five days.
John is survived by one daughter, Susan Mechelle Lane and husband Jesse of Licking, Missouri; John Warren Farmer stationed with the United States Marine Corp.; one granddaughter, Madison Nicole Lane of Licking, Missouri; one sister, Marilyn DeClue and husband Donald of Potosi, Missouri; two brothers, Mike Besel of Potosi, Missouri, Bill Besel of St. Louis, Missouri and by many other relatives and dear and special friends. In addition to his parents, John was also preceded in death by two sisters, Carol York and Lee Nelson.
John had accepted Christ as his savior and was attending the Living Christ Church where he enjoyed the fellowship and activities of the Church, John always had his family in his mind with his prayers for his children.
John was very proud of his grand daughter Madison Nicole and always made mention of her to everyone. He enjoyed his time with his family and friends.
Visitation was held Sunday, August 28, 2005 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
Funeral services were held Sunday, August 28, 2005 at 2:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel with Pastor David Bridgeman and Pastor Leon Mosier officiating.
Burial was at the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
