Dennis Joseph Blair
Dennis Joseph Blair of St. Louis, Missouri was born Saturday, July 7, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri a son of Betty Jean Blair and Ross Blair. Dennis departed this life Thursday, March 3, 2005 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of Fifty-three Years, Seven Months and Twenty-seven Days.
Dennis is survived by his Mother, Betty Blair and Father Ross Blair of Mineral Point, Missouri; Brother, Dale Blair and wife Jeannie of Manchester, Tennessee and by many other relatives and dear friends.
Dennis was employed by the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier in the St. Louis, Missouri region.
Dennis had a great love for music, he was very talented and able to play most all instruments. He loved to sing and listen to all types of music. Dennis enjoyed studying and researching information pertaining to World War II and the events surrounding it. He would relax watching old movies and took great pride in his ability to remember lines from them and to act them out to others.
Visitation was held Sunday, March 6, 2005 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Monday, March 7, 2005 from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri. A Prayer Service was held Sunday, March 6, 2005 at 5:30 PM led by Father George Galovich.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated Monday, March 7, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church, Potosi, Missouri with Father George Galovich celebrating. Music was provided by Rebecca Richards.
Final Prayers, Blessings and Burial was at the Calvary Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. Following the Services, the family and friends returned to the St. James School Hall where a luncheon was provided by the Parish Family.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
