Richard Glen Blair

Richard Blair of Potosi, Missouri was born on Wednesday, October 19, 1955 in Ironton, Missouri a son of the late Ethel M. (DeGonia) Blair and Glen Blair. Rich departed this life on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at the St. Louis University Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of fifty-one years, three months and eighteen days.

Richard is survived by one daughter, Mikayla Blair of Missouri; one sister, Linda Peddicord and husband David of Charlotte, North Carolina; niece, Heather Tilden and husband Michael of Charlotte, North Carolina; great niece, Alexa Tilden of Charlotte, North Carolina; dear friends, the Bone family: Yenette and David Lefler of Richwoods, Missouri and Yvette and Marion Scott of Potosi, Missouri; also surviving are other relatives and many friends. Rich was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and Glen Blair.

Rich loved life, so much so, that he would be proud of the fact that he was an organ donor helping numerous individuals at St. Louis University Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri.

Richard was a member of the St. James Catholic Church, Potosi, Missouri. He enjoyed singing old gospel songs and watching old military and history movies. Rich loved visiting with his many friends, who will miss him deeply. He also enjoyed reading and farming.

Visitation was held Saturday, February 10, 2007 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Service was held Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper officiating.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Antioch Cemetery, Belgrade, Missouri.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
