Amy Blakely (Blakely)

          Amy Jean (Shepard) Blakely of Potosi, was born February 12, 1972 in Festus a daughter to Judith “Judy” Ann (Coleman) Shepard and the late Gary Blakely. Amy departed this life Thursday, August 12, 2021 having reached the age of 49 years and 6 months.

          Amy is survived by her mother and step father; Judy and Allen Shepard of Cadet; son, Dennis “D.J.” Blount and wife Kim of St. Louis; step brother, Allen Shepard, Jr. of Columbia, Missouri; uncle, Bernie Coleman; aunt, Dale Schultz and many other relatives and dear and special friends.

          In addition to her father, Gary Blakely, Amy was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ethel Villmer; grandfather, Bernard Coleman and cousin, Rusty Coleman. 

          Amy enjoyed shopping, gambling at the boat and playing the lottery.  She loved her dogs Wally and Bally.  Above all, Amy enjoyed spending time, especially with D.J. and his family, as well as other family and friends.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
