Richard Wayne “Dickie” Bobbett
Richard “Dickie” Bobbett of Cedar Hill, Missouri was born on Wednesday, June 3, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on September 19, 2010 at his residence having reached the age of fifty-one years, three months and sixteen days.
“Dickie” is survived by his mother, Fay (Phillips) Fischer of Bonne Terre, Missouri; father, Dale Bobbett and wife, Helen of Potosi, Missouri; one sister, Sherri Mansfield and husband, Daniel of Florissant, Missouri; one brother, Mike Bobbett and wife, Michelle of Fenton, Missouri; niece, Emily Mansfield of Florissant, Missouri; aunt and uncle, Margaret and Tom Phillips of Potosi, Missouri; dear and special friend, Becky Feeler of Rolla, Missouri; also surviving are other relatives and friends.
“Dickie” enjoyed all types of racing, drag racing and was an avid Nascar fan. He also enjoyed building and repairing engines and listening to classic rock music. “Dickie” loved the many gifts of Mother Nature and loved spending time outdoors hunting, fishing and target practicing. He also loved his visits with his mother. “Dickie” will be forever remembered by his family and friends.
Visitation was held Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel with Reverend Sally Ketterer officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Dan Mansfield, Greg Coleman, Jim Clemonds, Jimmy Clemonds, Brad Baumgarth and Russell Cresswell.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Lost Creek Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
