Ruth Ann Bone of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on Thursday, January 11, 1945 in Monmouth, Illinois a daughter of the late, Katie (Shelton) Brown and Hume Brown. Ruth departed this life on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at her residence having reached the age of sixty-six years, eight months and seven days.
Ruth was united in marriage to Gary Bone on October 8, 1966 at the St. James Catholic Church in Potosi, Missouri.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Gary Bone of Mineral Point, Missouri; one daughter, Leigh Ann Everett and husband, Mike of Imperial, Missouri; three sons, Ron Bone and wife, Nancy of O’Fallon, Missouri, Tim Bone of Imperial, Missouri, Leonard Bone and wife, Carla of Hopewell, Missouri; one sister, Emily Harmon of Winona Lake, Indiana; three brothers, Stanley Brown and wife, Erika of Frankfurt, Germany, James Brown and wife, Wanda of Cahokia, Illinois, Louis Brown and wife, Angie of Raymondville, Missouri; eleven grandchildren: Jeremy, Tyler, Zachary, Jasmyn, Brianna, Jaida, Courtney, Alyssa, Austin, Emmaline and Trenton; sister-in-law, Marilyn Kelly and husband, Tom of Creve Coeur, Missouri; mother-in-law, Dorothy Bone of Mineral Point, Missouri. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by one sister, Ruby Frances and father-in-law, Leonard Bone.
Ruth was a longtime member of the St. James Catholic Church, Potosi, Missouri. Her greatest love was her grandchildren and the time they spent together. She enjoyed visiting with her family and friends and sewing. Ruth will be greatly missed by her loved ones.
Visitation was held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, September 20, 2011 with a vigil prayer service at 5:00 PM conducted by Reverend Joe Welschmeyer and visitation also Wednesday, September 21, 2011 from 8:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Joe Welschmeyer officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Sean Hoffelt, John Boliva, Keith Brown, Tommy Goodman, Nate Lothamer, Gary Price and Jimmy Brown.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Calvary Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
