Sherry Bone of Irondale, Missouri was born on Saturday, August 8, 1959 in Flat River, Missouri and departed this life on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Des Peres Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of forty-nine years, eleven months and thirteen days.
Sherry was united in marriage to Eddie Bone on August 26, 1995 in Ironton, Missouri.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Eddie Bone of Irondale, Missouri; one daughter, Stacey Rogers of Leadwood, Missouri; two sons, Daniel Walton and wife, Sheila of Bismarck, Missouri, Gregory Walton and wife, Kimberly of Leadwood, Missouri; father, William “Bill” Bowling and fiancé, Karen Barton of Irondale, Missouri; one sister, Lorrie Minton and husband, Rick of Gridley, Illinois; one brother, Wayne Bowling and wife, Loretta of Caledonia, Missouri; two stepsisters, Betty Borden and husband, Kevin of Desloge, Missouri, Patty Powell and fiancé, Jim of Farmington, Missouri; two stepbrothers, Jimmy Bone and wife, Sandy of Fredericktown, Missouri, Mike Bone and wife, Shiryl of Arcadia, Missouri; two grandchildren, Heith Walton and Brian Walton; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sherry was preceded in death by her mother, Alice (Skaggs) Bowling and mother-in-law, Pat Bowling.
Sherry was a 1978 graduate of the Valley R-6, Caledonia, Missouri. She enjoyed crocheting, attending concerts and listening to country music. Sherry loved being with family and preparing for their large gatherings, she was known as the one who kept the family as one. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart and cherished every moment with them. Sherry also enjoyed baking for Christmas and holidays, creating ceramic gifts and going to the casino. Vacationing in Branson was always her favorite time. Sherry will be forever remembered for the love and laughter she shared.
Visitation was held Thursday, July 23, 2009 from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday, July 24, 2009 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Friday, July 24, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend J.C. Moore Officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Daniel Walton, Gregory Walton, Kevin Bordon, Shawn Hahn, Johnny Bone and Rick Minton.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Bellevue Presbyterian Cemetery, Caledonia, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
