Kimberly Ann Adams departed from Earth early Thursday morning, May 28, 2009 at 1:42 AM having reached the age of thirty-nine years and twenty-seven days. She has been battling brain cancer for fourteen years and is now cancer free. Kim was born on May 1, 1970 in St. Louis, Missouri. She is survived by her husband, Joe Adams of Cadet, her children, Miranda and Ross Politte of Cadet, stepchildren, Mark Adams with his wife, Ashley Adams along with their daughter, Allison Adams of Cadet, Missouri and Erin Adams of Corsicana, Texas along with her son, Kaleb Stoffer of Texas. Kim’s parents are Donald and Mary Bourbon of Cadet. Her brothers are Don Bourbon and wife, Tina and two sons, Ryan and Connor of Payallup, Washington and Jeff Bourbon and wife, Courtney and their daughter, Kendall of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Kim also has a host of other family members and many friends.

In Kim’s spare time she love to attend her children’s ball games and school activities. She had a passion for organizing and listening to a variety of music. She will be truly missed. Her family is feeling bittersweet during this time, for they have lost a loved one but are relieved she isn’t in pain anymore.

The family would like to thank everyone for their support over these past few months. They feel very fortunate to have such a loving family.

Visitation was held Sunday, May 31, 2009 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Monday, June 1, 2009 from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Mass was Celebrated on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper officiating.

A Luncheon was provided for family and friends after the service by the Knight of Columbus, Old Mines, Missouri.

Serving as pallbearers were: Don Bourbon, Jeff Bourbon, Andy Adams, Robert Adams, John Adams, Mark Adams, Keith Carr and Robert Ross Jr.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
