ALICE BONETTA BOYER OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI FORMERLY OF TIFF, MISSOURI WAS BORN WEDNESDAY, MAY 11, 1910 IN TIFF, MISSOURI A DAUGHTER OF THE LATE LUCIAN AND ALPHA (WARD) AUBUCHON. ALICE DEPARTED THIS LIFE ON SATURDAY, JULY 5, 2003 AT THE ST. LUKE'S HOSPITAL, CHESTERFIELD, MISSOURI AT THE AGE OF NINETY-THREE YEARS, ONE MONTH AND TWENTY-FIVE DAYS.
ALICE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO THEODORE J. BOYER ON FEBRUARY 4, 1931 IN TIFF, MISSOURI. THEY WERE BLESSED TO HAVE FIVE CHILDREN BORN TO THE UNION. THEODORE PRECEDED HIS WIFE IN DEATH JULY 11, 1977.
ALICE IS SURVIVED BY HER DAUGHTER, BEVERLY REBECK AND HUSBAND FRANCIS OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI; THREE SONS, THEODORE BOYER AND WIFE PHYLLIS OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, CHARLES BOYER AND WIFE PATRICIA OF ST. PETERS, MISSOURI AND RONALD BOYER AND WIFE BARBARA OF ESCONDIDO, CALIFORNIA; ONE SISTER LORETTA PATTON AND HUSBAND RICHARD OF FAIRVIEW PARK, OHIO; TWO BROTHERS, HOWARD AUBUCHON AND WIFE MARIE OF TIFF, MISSOURI, ANDREW AUBUCHON AND WIFE ALMA OF CADET, MISSOURI; FOURTEEN GRANDCHILDREN; TWENTY-ONE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; ONE GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILD; DAUGHTER-IN-LAW, BARBARA BOYER OF HOFFMANN ESTATES, ILLINOIS; BROTHER-IN-LAW JAMES AUBUCHON OF OVERLAND, MISSOURI; SISTERS- IN-LAW MARGE AUBUCHON OF MINERAL POINT, MISSOURI AND LEONA AUBUCHON OF CADET, MISSOURI AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS AND HUSBAND, SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE SON DONALD BOYER; ONE SISTER DOROTHY AUBUCHON; FIVE BROTHERS HARRY, OSCAR, LEONARD, LAWRENCE AND JAMES AUBUCHON.
ALICE HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR THE GIFTS OF MOTHER NATURE AND ENJOYED SHARING THE BEAUTY OF HER FLOWER GARDEN WITH ALL. SHE WAS ALWAYS READY FOR VISITORS AND WOULD ALWAYS COOK FOR THEM. ALICE HAD A GREAT TALENT OF SEWING AND WOULD GET THE NEEDLE AND THREAD OUT TO MAKE A GIFT OR FIX AN ITEM FOR HER FAMILY AT ANY TIME. SHE ENJOYED RELAXING WITH A GOOD BOOK OR OTHER ARTICLE TO READ.
HER WARM HEART AND TENDER ARMS WERE ALWAYS READY TO HEAR A PROBLEM OR SHOW HER LOVE TO MANY. SHE NEVER FAILED TO GIVE A SMILE OR SAY HELLO.
VISITATION WAS HELD TUESDAY, JULY 8, 2003 FROM 5:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AND WEDNESDAY, JULY 9, 2003 FROM 8:30 A.M. TO 9:15 A.M. AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI, MISSOURI.
THE FUNERAL MASS WAS CELEBRATED WEDNESDAY, JULY 9, 2003 AT 10:00 A.M. AT THE ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, TIFF, MISSOURI WITH FATHER TED PIEPER OFFICIATING. MUSIC WAS PROVIDED BY THE CHURCH CHOIR AND ANITA GOVERO. BURIAL WAS IN THE ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH CEMETERY, TIFF, MISSOURI. SERVING AS PALL BEARERS WERE STEVE BOYER, MICHAEL BOYER, ROBERT BOYER, DANIEL TRAVERS, BENJAMIN DEGROAT AND CHRISTOPHER DEGROAT. SERVICES WERE ENTRUSTED TO THE CARE OF MOORE FUNERAL HOMES, POTOSI, MISSOURI.
