Argine Magdline (Golden) Boyer of Cadet, Missouri was born June 6, 1933 in Old Mines, Missouri a daughter to the late Elmer Godfrey Golden and Susie Louise (Haggard) Golden. Argine departed this life Saturday, October 24, 2020 having reached the age of 87 years, 4 months and 18 days.
On August 9, 1951, Argine was united in marriage to the late Clifford Lucian Boyer and they were blessed with fifty- three wonderful years together.
Argine is survived by her daughter, Debbie Summers and husband Roger of Potosi, Missouri; sons, Roger Boyer and wife Barbara of Bismarck, Missouri, Wayne Boyer and wife Gail of Cadet, Missouri; five grandchildren, Lori, Joshua, Jeremy, Christine, Andrea; fourteen great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and loving husband, Argine was preceded in death by her brothers, Orville Golden, Tony Marler, Arthur Marler, Johnnie Golden, George “Walter” Golden; sisters, Mae Golden, Ruth Golden, Lucy Marler-Ross, Annie Rollins, Elizabeth Pratt, Eliza Boyer and Marie Boyer.
Argine was always on the go and did not like to sit around. She liked working around her home and was a faithful member of the St. Joachim Catholic Church. She was also active with the Washington County Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. She frequently visited her friends at the Senior Center and enjoyed a good game of Bingo. She loved taking day trips to the casino and always stopped at KFC, her favorite place to eat. Most of all, she loved her family with her whole heart. Her memory will be treasured by all who loved her.
