Carolyn Sue Boyer of Cadet, Missouri was born on January 4, 1949 in Old Mines, Missouri and departed this life April 8, 2017 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home in Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of sixty-eight years, three months and four days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kathryn Theresa (Hammond) Sanders and Melvin James Sanders, two daughters, Donna Sue Dean and Peggy Lee Dean, one sister, Tammy Marie Sanders, two brothers, David Sanders and Jesse Sanders.
Carolyn Sue is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Marie Coleman and husband, Kemmy of Cadet, Missouri; Debbie Faye Gerlach and husband, Mark of Terre Du Lac, Missouri; three sisters, Glenda Jean Cain of Old Mines, Missouri; Mary “Zippy” Drennen and husband, Randy of Mineral Point, Missouri; Gloria “Fern” Brown and husband, Mark of Cadet, Missouri; three brothers, Mikey Sanders of Cadet, Missouri; Edward James Sanders and wife, Vanessa of Cadet, Missouri; Melvin James Sanders of Cadet, Missouri; seven grandchildren: Lacey Nicole Coleman, Meghan Marie Johnson, Dustin Paul Coleman, Deaven James Coleman, Martin Edward (Asheley) Litton III, Corey Wayne Litton, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Litton; two great-grandchildren, Chloe Lane Dobbs and Genesis Faith Dobbs; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Carolyn Sue loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed taking care of her yard and cutting grass. Playing board games, cards and bingo were a few of her favorite pastimes. She also loved listening to all kinds of music with bluegrass being her favorite. Carolyn Sue will be forever remembered for the love and laughter she shared with her family and friends who will all deeply miss her.
Visitation was held Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Father Tony Dattilo officiating.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Joachim Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: Martin Litton III, Corey Litton, Dustin Coleman, Deaven Coleman, Randy Drennen, Rodney Cain and honorary pallbearer, Mark Brown.
