Jon Eric Boyer, Jr. of Bismarck, Missouri was born on Wednesday, July 11, 1979 in Farmington, Missouri a son of Jon Eric Boyer, Sr., and the late Connie Sue “Susie” (Eye) Bowles. Eric departed this life at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri surrounded by the love and care of his family on Friday, December 21, 2012 at the age of Thirty-three years, five months and ten days.
Eric, as family and friends knew him, had a great love for Mother Nature and her many gifts. He enjoyed spending time fishing. He was always at his best if he could be working on a car, tinkering on any item that needed his attention.
Eric was united in marriage to Samantha Farris on December 1, 2005 in Belleview, Missouri. They were blessed on October 28, 2012, to have a daughter, Grace Mae, born to their union.
Eric is survived by his dear and special wife, Samantha Boyer of Bismarck, Missouri; the light of his life, daughter, Grace Mae Boyer of the family home; his father and step mother, Jon “Boo” Boyer and Becky of Potosi; sisters, Crystal Boyer of Belgrade, Jaimee Boyer of Potosi; step sister, Brandy Jarvis and husband Jeff; half brother, Drew Bowles of Potosi; step brother Josh Mapes and wife Katie of Potosi; grand parents, Paul Eye and wife Judy of Potosi, Mary Emily of Potosi; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kathy and William King of Bismarck; step-father, Dennis Bowles of Potosi; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Tabatha Pierce of Raleigh, North Carolina, Heather Farris of Bonne Terre, Matthew Gray of Bismarck, Justin Gray of Farmington; nieces and nephews, Wyatt, Makinley, Elizabeth, Madalyn, Parker, Lillie, William, Aubree, Aniston, Rhenn and by many other dear relatives and special friends. In addition to his mother, Eric was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Bonnie Elizabeth Eye.
Visitation was held Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
Funeral Services were held Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Melody Palmerton officiating.
Services were under the direction of the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
