Joseph “Joe” Lee Boyer of Cadet, MO, was born March 24, 1955 in Bonne Terre, MO, a son of the late Jesse Lee Boyer and the late Verna Marie Boyer. Joe departed this life on August 13, 2018, having reached the age of sixty-three years, four months and twenty days.
Joe was united in marriage to Cheryl Juliette on July 22, 1983 in Potosi, MO. In addition to his wife, Cheryl, Joe is survived by four daughters; Brandie Wright of Potosi, MO, Misty Wiley and significant other RJ Stebe of Charlevoix, MI, Lacey Robertson and husband Jake of Hillsboro, MO, Nicky Boyer and significant other Tony Orta of Farmington, MO, two sisters; Jane Pashia of Valle Mines, MO, Diane Maxwell of San Diego, CA, one brother; Father Mark Boyer of Springfield, MO, seven grandchildren; Kaleb, Devon, Ian, Oliviah, Kaylie, Hampton and Evan. Joe is also survived by Laura (Dave) Ingram, Audrey (Bill) McElyea, Mathew (Amber) Pashia, Ryan (Laura) McCormack, many other family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by two brothers; Mike Boyer and Jeff Boyer, son-in-law, Jason Wright, brother-in-law, Pap Pashia and a special family member, Ron Patania.
Joe was the owner and operator of Boyer Home Improvements. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Hall and the St. Joachim Church. Joe loved life and was always eager to help those in need. Through his passing, Joe donated his body for the expansion of knowledge of students who will work to support the health of many in the future. He enjoyed playing games as well as hosting family gatherings. Joe loved to share a laugh with his kids and grandkids as they were the light of his life. Joe will be deeply missed by all who had known him.
