Della “De De” Boyster
Della “De De” Boyster of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on December 28, 1970 in Belleville, Illinois a daughter of the late Palla (DeClue) Parker and George Gough. “De De” departed this life on Monday, February 5, 2007 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of thirty-six years, one month and eight days.
“De De” was united in marriage to Tom Boyster on September 18, 2004 in Potosi, Missouri.
“De De” is survived by her loving husband, Tom Boyster of Mineral Point, Missouri; two daughters, Amanda Gillam of Potosi, Missouri, Ashley Fay Gillam of Mineral Point, Missouri; two sisters, Elizabeth Gough of Steelville, Missouri, Dawn Marie Parker of Farmington, Missouri; father of thirty-two years, James Parker and companion Karen Wyatt of Farmington, Missouri; grandmother, Georgia V. DeClue of Potosi, Missouri; aunt, Aona DeClue of Potosi, Missouri; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Elsie H. And Junior “T” Boyster of Mineral Point, Missouri; brother-in-law, Tony and Jennifer Boyster of DeSoto, Missouri; and one granddaughter, Addison Fay Gillam; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. “De De” was preceded in death by her parents, Palla Parker and George Gough.
“De De” loved being with her family, especially her children and cooking large meals for everyone. She enjoyed watching Abi and Dillion riding in the rodeo. “De De” also enjoyed watching her husband Tom in the sand drag and going with him to see stock car racing. She has been noted for being a loving surrogate mother to many children. She loved music, movies and anything connected with Elvis. “De De” was always reading Stephen King books and watching his thriller movies. She also loved to go shopping trying to find “Tweedie Bird” items. “De De” enjoyed to go fishing and spending time with her family and friends.
Visitation was held Thursday, February 8, 2007 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday, February 9, 2007 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, February 9, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church with Father Ted Pieper officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Mike Cordia, Tony Boyster, Brandon Coutois, Mike Isabell, Nick Wyatt and Dustin Wyatt.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Calvary Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
