Brian is survived by his wife, Cynthia; fathers, Jerry Smith and Don Talley; one son, Christopher Graddy and wife Leah; two granddaughters, Serenity and Chasity Graddy; four sisters, Donna Talley, Angela (Tom) Smith, Vickie (Russel) Lawson, Betty (William) Akers; nieces and nephews, Lonnie Willett, Austin Akers, Lexi Rains, Dawson (Savannah) Akers, Kaylynn Akers, Mackenzie Lawson, Addison Akers, Samantha Lawson; great nieces and nephews, Bayli and Sutton Akers, Waylon and Wyatt Rains, Brennan Covington, Anna Lynn coming in September 2024 and Carson Lynn coming in January 2025 in addition to many special cousins, extended family and friends.
Brian was a man of the outdoors and being with his family. He had a passion for hunting and fishing. He always looked forward to the yearly family tradition at deer camp with Biggen, Red, Robert, Willie, Skeeder, and Jr. Brian always said what happens at deer camp stays at deer camp. He didn’t care if he sat by the campfire the whole time and slept in his chair, just as long as he was there.
Brian always looked forward to our cousin gatherings for the holidays. He always asked “are you making cornbread dressing and Pecan Pie?” of course he always got it. No matter where Brian was he was always nodding off to sleep either standing, sitting, or riding. Although Brian’s health failed him, he always tried to make the best out of every day. He always offered to help anyone if he could and he never asked for anything in return. He didn’t want to be a burden to anyone. Brian was always one to laugh and have a good time no matter the situation. His sense of humor was like no other. He laughed at everything and if you were not laughing he would look at you and say “What” or “I don’t care who you are, that’s funny”
Brian has always said that he wanted people to tell funny stories about him, as we all know he loved to laugh and have a good time.
