Samuel Broombaugh

Samuel G. Broombaugh of Richwoods, Missouri, was born June 18, 1929, a son of the late Emmett James and Hattie Mae (Kirchoffer) Broombaugh. Sam departed this life November 22, 2018, having reached the age of 89 Years, 5 Months and 4 Days.
Sam was united in marriage to the late Norma Joy Horine on July 19, 1975.
Sam is survived by one brother, Glen Broombaugh of Potosi, MO and by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In addition to his parents and wife Sam was also preceded in death by one infant sister, Marie Broombaugh and by five brothers, Junior Broombaugh, Charles Broombaugh, Marvin Broombaugh, Harold Broombaugh and Jerry Broombaugh.
Sam was a member of the Richwoods Methodist Church for many years. Prior to his retirement Sam worked for the Ford Motor Company. Sam had a great love for his family and friends and greatly enjoyed the many activities and visits. He loved playing music with the fiddle, keyboard and piano. During his time at the nursing home, Sam could often be found playing music and singing with other groups for the residents.
Sam had a great love for his wife and every time they would see each other it would be all smiles and love would shine.
