Edward Sitzes, lovingly known as "Buddy" peacefully passed away on July 17, 2024. Born on October 6, 1955, Buddy filled his days with joyful memories of fishing for Spoon Bill, camping at Clearwater, hunting and traveling the country with Mary Lou. Described as lovable, kind, and caring, Buddy's legacy extends far beyond. He was willing to lend a helping hand to those need and brought warmth wherever he went.
His proudest accomplishments were centered on his family; he adored them endlessly. He spoiled his grandchildren with candy, Mountain Dew, and coffee. He always made sure that they were happy and always took them on rides on the power chair or lawnmower. In their hearts, he will forever hold the title of a proud father and PaPa to his grandchildren.
Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle Eugene Sitzes and Hazel Coleen (Maddox) Sitzes, as well as his sister-in-law Gayle Quinton. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be carried on by those who survive him.
In mourning his loss yet cherishing his memory are his Life Partner Mary Lou Hochstatter; Daughter Tonya Richards and her husband Jason; Son Jamie Sitzes and Susie Malugen, Bonus Daughters Bobbie Heifner and her husband David, Amy Shepard and her husband Joe; Sister April Manning; Brothers Larry Quinton, Doyle Sitzes and his wife Cheryl, Rick Sitzes, Scott (Beaver) Sitzes and his wife Shawntay.
Buddy's spirit will also live on through the generations he leaves behind: Grandchildren Trevor Sitzes his and wife Haylee, Sam Richards, Ben Richards, Dylan Eye and his wife Megan, Kyle Heifner and his wife Kayla, Kody Heifner, Adam Shepard and his wife Kayla, Dakota Shepard, Stephanie Shepard, Carter Shepard, Landon Dickey, Lucas Dickey, Mariah Libby and her husband Phillip, Tatum Slover; great-grandchildren Avery, Peyton, Caraline, Harrison, Colton, Hadlee, Kaden, Taytum and Prestlyn.
Buddy gave all of his friends and family many memories; memories that will always bring and smile, laugh and a heart full of gratitude. A tear may fall but those who loved him can proudly say Buddy was my dad, brother, Uncle, PaPa, and great friend.
