Kathryn Buesking of Potosi, Missouri was born on Friday, July 6, 1934 in Caledonia, Missouri a daughter of the late, Arabella Henrietta (McCormick) Shelton and Clarence Frank Shelton. Kathryn departed this life on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at her residence having reached the age of seventy-five years, ten months and two days.
Kathryn is survived by one daughter, Margaret Green of Potosi, Missouri; one brother, Walter Shelton and wife, Janice of Bismarck, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Eric, Brian, Melissa, David, Mark, Nicole, Tiffany; seven great-grandchildren, Dedra, Lucas, Ashley, Kierra, Jordan, Erica and Emily; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Buesking, two sons, Robert Day, Jr., Lavondel Day, four sisters, Pauline Day, Martha Airsman, Helen Stamper, Mary Sadler, six brothers, Ralph Shelton, Cruise Shelton, Frank Shelton, Clarence Shelton, Tom Shelton and Clifford Hicks.
Kathryn worked as a cook for many years at the Washington County Memorial Hospital, Potosi, Missouri. She enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, going fishing and working in her garden. Kathryn loved her family and friends, who will forever cherish her memory.
Visitation was held Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 7:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Jerry Compton officiating.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
