Nellie Arlene Burns (Vincent)

Nellie Arlene Burns of Potosi, Missouri was born December 18, 1934 in Eva, Alabama a daughter to the late Harvey L. “Bab” Vincent and Nellie (Martin) Vincent. Nellie departed this life Wednesday November 13, 2019 having reached the age of 84 years, 10 months and 26 days.
On August 24, 1957, Nellie was united in marriage to Ralph Dale Burns in Clayton, Missouri and they were blessed with 27 wonderful years.
Nellie is survived by two daughters, Vickie Vines of Columbia, Missouri, Lana Boyer of Potosi, Missouri; four sisters: Montz Golden and husband Everett of Eva, Alabama, Bonnie Martin of Tennessee, Carolyn Green of Baileyton, Alabama, Rosemary “Mickey” Woolbright of Arab, Alabama; three grandchildren: Steven, Aaron and Kaylan along with many other nieces, nephews relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, Nellie was also preceded in death by two Brother-in-laws, Gerald Green and Gil Woolbright.
Nellie was a kind and loving lady always having others in her thoughts and prayers. She was in touch with nature and loved to sit and watch the birds. A big sports fan, she rooted on the many teams of college basketball and followed the St. Louis Cardinals from start to finish. She enjoyed relaxing and visiting with her family and seeing the new products presented on QVC. Her love and kindness will be greatly missed by the lives she touched.
