Ralph Butery of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on Sunday, December 3, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri a son of the late, Vernell (Long) Wade and Charles A. Butery. Ralph departed this life on Monday, February 28, 2011 at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of sixty-six years, two months and twenty-five days.
Ralph was united in marriage on Erma J. Benson on January 14, 1995 in Potosi, Missouri.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Erma Butery of Mineral Point, Missouri; three daughters, Becky Eggers of Leadwood, Missouri and special friend Jim Wilkins of Bismarck, Missouri, Amy McKinney of Park Hills, Missouri, Christina Harmon and husband, Gary Lynn of Potosi, Missouri; one son, Scott Butery and wife, Maria of Bismarck, Missouri; three brothers, Mike Wade and wife, Beverly of St. Louis, Missouri, David Wade and wife, Kathy of Festus, Missouri, Tommy Wade of Festus, Missouri; one sister, Jeanne Moede of Wheatland, Wyoming; eleven grandchildren, Ashley, Christopher, Amber, Sarah, Brittany, Brooksana, Victoria, Macy, Jada, Gavin and Ashby; one great-grandchild, Karlee Lynn; special aunt and uncle, Sally and Bob Rainey of Vichy, Missouri; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by stepmother, Ella Butery and one brother, Ronald Wade.
Ralph enjoyed spending time in the outdoors camping, deer hunting, fishing and admiring the many beautiful gifts of Mother Nature. Spending time with his family especially his grandchildren always brought a smile to his face. Ralph also enjoyed listening to bluegrass music at local festivals. In his spare time he could be found watching Hee Haw and Cumberland Highlanders T.V. shows. Ralph will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
Visitation was held Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Pastor Lynn Thebeau officiating.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
