Ron David Byington of Martin, Tennessee was born in Herculaneum, Missouri on Sunday, June 1, 1941. Ron was the son of the late William Lucian Byington and Elizabeth Hazel (Dixon) Byington. Ron departed this life on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 having reached the age of sixty-four years, four months and twenty-five days.
Ron was united in marriage to Janith Barton on October 3, 1959 in Bonne Terre, Missouri and to this union they were blessed with five children.
Ron is survived by his wife, Janith Byington of Martin, Tennessee, two daughters, Ramona Warson and husband Craig of Martin, Tennessee, Ronda Reeves and husband Tim of Gleason, Tennessee, three sons, Mark Byington and wife Bonnie of Paris, Tennessee, Dennis Byington of Martin, Tennessee, Lucian Byington and wife Patricia of Martin, Tennessee, five sisters, Judy Price and husband Noel of Camden, Missouri, Debra Haynes and husband Carl of Festus, Missouri, Peggy Bell and husband Joe of Wichita, Kansas, Arlene Good and husband Richard of Joplin, Missouri, Glenda Woods and husband Leon of Sublett, Kansas, three brothers, Frank Byington and wife Joyce of Camden, Missouri, Bill Byington and wife Loretta of Festus, Missouri, Mike Byington and wife Peggy of Festus, Missouri, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Ron was preceded in death by his parents.
Ron enjoyed going fishing and golfing. He also loved spending time with his wonderful grandchildren, great grandchildren and his family and friends. Ron was a very kind and generous man that will be missed.
Visitation was held Friday, October 28, 2005 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bonne Terre, Missouri with Father John Schneider officiating.
Burial took place at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Bonne Terre, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
