Donald William Cain
Donald Cain of Potosi, Missouri was born on Sunday, January 15, 1939 in Palmer, Missouri a son of the late, Margaret Ann (Shipley) Cain and Fred William Cain. Donald departed this life on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home, Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of seventy-one years, three months and nine days.
Donald is survived by three daughters, Penny Basham and husband, Tom, Sue Ann Hall and husband, Marty of Sturgeon, Missouri, Rachel Cain of Moberly, Missouri; three brothers, Billy Joe Cain and wife, Mamie of Mineral Point, Missouri, Daniel Cain and wife, Flo of Mineral Point, Missouri, Kenneth Cain and fiancé, Virginia of Mineral Point, Missouri; one sister, Goldie Lee Boyer and husband, Leonard of Cadet, Missouri; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by two brothers, Virgil Cain, Lindell Cain and one sister, Rose Ann Torwegge.
Donald attended the Potosi First Baptist Church. He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks # 2218 and also of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Ozark Hills Aerie # 3350. Donald loved traveling across the United States, going fishing and dancing. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will always be remembered for the love he shared.
Visitation was held Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 6:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Pastor Jamie Haguewood officiating.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
